Terms, Privacy
& Safety Notice

FRIDA Date is an invitation-based dining and matching experience operated by FRIDA Rooftop Restobar. You must be 18 or older to participate.

1. Information we collect

We collect your first name, phone number, selected profile photo, FRIDA Club account link, verification and consent records, likes, matches, dinner scheduling and menu choices, after-date decisions, device/security information, and any safety or support reports you submit. Existing FRIDA guest history may be used internally to verify identity and review admission. You may optionally provide one private social-media profile link to help management compare your identity with the portrait you submit. A social-media account is never required to join.

2. What other members see

Approved FRIDA Date members may see your first name and the photo you select for your Date profile. They do not receive your phone number, surname, social-media link, FRIDA Club history, spending, membership tier, private menu choice, or private after-date decision. Social-media proof is restricted to authorized FRIDA management and is never displayed during matching. A mutual match reveals that both people chose Date Night.

3. Permission to use your content

You keep ownership of your photo and other content. You give FRIDA a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, revocable licence to host, store, reproduce, resize, moderate and display that content only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure and promote your participation inside FRIDA Date. FRIDA will not sell your profile photo or use it in public advertising without separate permission. This licence ends when your Date profile is deleted, except for backups and records FRIDA must retain for safety, disputes or law.

3A. Ghost mode and blind dates

You must submit a genuine portrait for FRIDA review even when you select Ghost Mode. In Ghost Mode, the portrait remains available to authorized FRIDA management for identity and safety review but is replaced by a mystery card for other members. Only members who affirmatively opt into blind dates may be shown Ghost Mode profiles. A mutual choice follows the same scheduling, dinner and safety rules, and does not reveal the hidden portrait.

4. FRIDA Club and messages

If you are not already a FRIDA client, an accepted registration creates a FRIDA Club client record. FRIDA Date does not provide general free-form chat. After a mutual woman-to-man match, the woman may type one short private question and the matched man may answer only Yes or No; another question cannot be sent until he answers. Members may also send FRIDA’s preset joke cards and share up to two YouTube music links each. Shared music is visible only to the matched pair and remains subject to YouTube’s own terms and privacy practices. Verified FRIDA Club clients may send matched members symbolic icons representing currently available menu items. These digital gifts are playful messages only: they do not place an order, reserve an item, transfer value, charge either member or promise payment. These exchanges are stored with the match. Your mobile number is used privately to recognize your Club profile. Promotional marketing requires separate consent.

Pigeon Post is optional and requires both matched members to grant location permission. FRIDA stores only a reduced-precision location and uses it to calculate a rounded fictional pigeon flight time and broad distance description. Your coordinates and map pin are never shown to your match. Only preset FRIDA messages may be sent, and incoming messages appear after the calculated flight time. You may decline location permission and continue using the rest of FRIDA Date.

5. Sharing and service providers

FRIDA may share the minimum necessary information with hosting, security, communications and technology providers acting for FRIDA. Information may also be disclosed when required by law, to investigate abuse or fraud, protect a person’s safety, enforce these terms, or establish and defend legal claims.

6. Conduct and content

7. Dating safety

FRIDA reviews admission but does not guarantee identity, compatibility, intentions or conduct and does not conduct comprehensive background checks. Dates begin at FRIDA, a public venue. Stay in public, control your transportation, tell someone you trust about your plans, watch your drink, never send money, and ask FRIDA staff for immediate help if you feel uncomfortable. Consent can be withdrawn at any time and is never implied by a match, dinner or drink.

8. Matches, invitations and decisions

When a man sends a Date invitation, he must expressly agree that he is inviting and will pay for the FRIDA dinner. A match is not otherwise a promise or obligation. Swiping pauses while a Date Night is active. After dinner, each decision remains private unless both people choose another date. If either declines, profiles may return to matching without identifying who declined.

9. Retention, withdrawal and deletion

You may withdraw from FRIDA Date and request correction or deletion through FRIDA. The public Date profile will be disabled when withdrawal is processed. FRIDA may retain limited consent, transaction, security, abuse-prevention and legal records for as long as reasonably necessary.

10. No emergency service

FRIDA Date is not an emergency or law-enforcement service. In immediate danger, contact local emergency services and notify on-site FRIDA staff.

11. Changes and contact

Material changes will be presented for renewed acceptance. Questions, deletion requests and safety reports can be directed to FRIDA Rooftop Restobar through its official contact channels.

Important: By checking both boxes during registration, you confirm you are 18+, accept these rules and privacy practices, and specifically authorize display of your first name and selected photo to approved FRIDA Date members.
