Your photo, your picture, and how the restaurant may use it
Version booth-2026-09-25
In short
- You only upload photos you took or have the right to use, and everyone in them is OK with it.
- You let the restaurant keep the pictures you create and use them for the restaurant's marketing: social media, the website, screens and print. We may show them without your name and without paying you.
- A code from your the restaurant bill or the restaurant WhatsApp message unlocks the booth. Each guest can create up to 2 pictures a day, and every picture carries the the restaurant logo. No account is needed.
- You can ask us to stop using a picture at any time, and we'll stop using it in new posts.
1 · Using the booth
The photo booth opens with a code: scan the QR code on your the restaurant bill, type the code printed on it, or open the link in your the restaurant WhatsApp message. No account is needed. Each guest can create up to 2 pictures a day (a day runs until 6 AM); we count them per phone with a small cookie, and per booking or account when we know them. Every finished picture carries the the restaurant logo, our website and the date. Before every picture you tick "I agree" to these terms.
2 · What you upload
- Only upload a photo you took yourself, or one you have the right to use.
- If other people are in it, make sure they agree. Don't upload photos of children unless you're their parent or guardian.
- No nudity, violence, hate, or anything illegal or hurtful to anyone. We may refuse or delete such pictures and close the account.
3 · How the picture is made
Your photo is sent to an AI image service (currently OpenAI, the company behind ChatGPT) together with the restaurant's style for the night, and the new picture comes back to your phone. The AI decides what it draws, so results can be surprising. the restaurant doesn't promise a particular result. We don't keep the photo you uploaded; we keep the finished picture.
4 · What you allow the restaurant to do
When you tap "I agree" and create, you give the restaurant a free, worldwide, permanent permission to keep, copy, edit, crop, add our logo and text to, publish and share that picture, on the restaurant's social media accounts, website, in-venue screens, printed material and advertising, without having to ask you again, name you, or pay you. You still own your original photo, and you can keep sharing your picture yourself.
5 · Changing your mind
To ask us to stop using a picture or to delete it, tell us at the restaurant, message us on Instagram, or tap "Stop use" under the picture on your the restaurant page if you signed in. We'll stop using it in anything new within 14 days. Posts that are already published or printed may stay up.
6 · Your data
The booth itself doesn't ask for your name or number. If you sign in to your the restaurant page, we use its details only to run it, and only send offers if you allowed it. We never sell your data.
7 · Changes
If these terms change, the booth will ask you to read them and agree again before your next picture.
